How can I connect my AirPods to my MacBook (pro or air)?
Bluetooth must be turned on in order to pair AirPods with a MacBook. Then, open the AirPods case’s cover and push its back button. Observe the flashing of a white light. Big Sur 11.0 and Catalina 10.15 are visually distinct from Monterey macOS.

Typically, the speaker symbol for Monterey is located near to the WiFi icon, and occasionally the AirPlay icon.

6: Enter pairing mode on your AirPods

1: Your macOS is out-of-date

- Within System Preferences, click “Software Update”
- Note: This icon should be the first in the third row.
- Click “Update Now”
I recommend backing up your files before updating your MacBook pro or air. All of your data may be backed up using either Apple’s Time Machine or an external hard disk.
After you upgrade your MacBook, Apple will immediately update it to the most recent version.
2: Low Bluetooth signal strength

Check for any Bluetooth devices that have been activated.

In this situation, disable your speaker and relocate your Mac away from microwaves and baby monitors.
All of these make it more difficult to create a secure Bluetooth connection.
Once this is complete, you must detach your AirPods and re-pair them with your Mac.

- Click the Apple icon (found in the upper-left corner of your Mac’s screen) to launch the Finder.
- Choose “System Preferences”

Step 8: Enter the email address and password for your Apple ID.
Ensure that your email address and iPhone password are identical.
